Each panel features a single, seven colour, illuminated Call Button. The colour of the Call Button can be changed to indicate the call state (Idle, Ringing, Call In Progress).
The unit has two modes of operation. It can be configured to operate as part of an IP telephony system, in this mode it registers as part of the telephone system and is given a directory number. The Call Button of the can be configured to call a specific extension number when pressed. Telephony integration has the advantage of allowing the telephone system to handle the call. Features such as Hunt Groups, Forward No Answer and Time Based Routing can be used to ensure the call is handled.
If telephony integration is not required, the panel can be configured with a call list of PC's running the CallPoint application. The PC's microphone and speakers or USB headset is then used to comunicate with the panel.
