Milestone Integration

A construction company in North West of England required a CCTV and access control solution to work together to help secure their companies premises. The company had already deployed IP PTZ cameras and Milestone X-Protect.

They required a complimentary access control solution to enable event based recording and control of PTZ cameras.

As well as a standard access control function protecting the internal and external perimeter entrances, the installer was required to interrupt the pre-set PTZ patrols of cameras. These cameras are patrolling the extremities of the building and needed to be repositioned when personnel are detected approaching entrances or leaving the buildings.

The entrance, protected by read in and read out access control. When a person is leaving the building the ‘read out’ event is used in the same way through PolicyServer to capture footage of the action
