The ALK3704-IP can be powered from both IEE802.3af and PoE Plus. PoE Plus provides up to 25W of usable power at the door. This gives us the ability to support two Magnetic Locks and connect up to four Wiegand card readers for authentication at the door. Each controller features a card database (approx 50,000 cards) for local authentication and remote authentication via PolicyServer. Two methods of failover are provided in the event of PolicyServer being unavailable.

The lock controller can be easily deployed via a Category 5e or Category 6 data outlet providing both power and data to the unit with a single cable.

Each controller features an embedded web server enabling configuration of system, lock and reader options via a web browser.
